Is the camera wired or battery powered?

The camera is wired and needs to be plugged in to work.

* It comes with a 10FT/3M power cord and adapter (two-prong plug), please make sure there is a suitable outlet at your home for connecting the camera.

Is a subscription mandatory? – No

Most functions don’t require the cloud, such as watching videos in real time, two-way audio, person tracking, real-time notifications, etc.

* New users get 90 days of free event clips, after 90 days, subscribing to the cloud servicte is optional.

Support 24/7 continuous recording? – Yes

This camera supports 24/7 continuous recording or event recording. However, an SD card is necessary for video storage.

Does it come with an SD card, and do you actually need one?

It doesn’t come with an SD card. You can watch through the app without an SD card. However, if you want to record video and play it back later, you will need an SD card.

* An sd card is not required for the initial pairing.
