Setup for TVs with OPT or AUX Audio Output Ports Plug

Plug the transmitter into a power source and connect to your TV’s audio output port.

Power

Power on the transmitter and earbuds, Slide both power switches to “ON.”

Establish Connection

Wait a few seconds for them to pair. Look for a solid blue light as confirmation.

Configure TV Settings

Use your TV remote to select the correct audio output. For optical output, ensure audio format is set to PCM. (This resolves 95% of common issues.)

Setup for Bluetooth Enabled TV Keep the transmitter OFF

Ensure the transmitter’s power switch is in the “OFF” position.

Select the correct settings

Using your TV remote, go to:

Settings → Sound → Sound Output. Select Bluetooth Speaker List.

Put earbuds in pairing mode

The earphones will enter pairing mode automatically by flashing blue.

Select “Avantree NB18”

Select ‘Avantree NB18’ from your TV Bluetooth speaker list.

Is there different ear bud replacement sizes?

Yes, there are 4 different size sets of earbud tips XS, S, M, L included in the package, you can replace the earbud tips to have a better fit.

Do the earbuds have volume control?

Yes, the earbuds feature built-in controls so you can adjust the volume or pause / play without needing to use the remote.

Can I use the earphones and have the TV speakers on so others can also hear the TV?

The majority of TVs can play audio through their built-in speakers and the earphones, but it’s TV-dependent. The Medley Clear’s pass-through function allows audio to be played simultaneously through both the earbuds and an EXTERNAL speaker.

Can the Clear Dialogue mode be turned off or is it always on?

Yes, you can turn that off. There are different modes you can choose from.

How to Fix No Sound Issues for TV Headphones?

1. Ensure the headphones are connected to base (solid LED on ‘1’). 2. Set the TV’s audio output correctly and change the audio format to PCM—this resolves 90% of issues.

[USING WITH SMART TVS] For Smart TVs with built-in Bluetooth (e.g., 2024 Samsung TVs), the Medley Clear earbuds can pair directly via Bluetooth. In this case, slide the transmitter to ‘OFF’ because there is no need to use the transmitter.
